SUMMER 2000 SPECIALTY SHOW RESULTS

Once again our show day dawned with perfect weather. I cannot express strongly enough the gratitude to all the people who put their hard work into making this specialty show a success every year. Our committee was in full gear this year gathering ads, raffle items and trophies. Everything looked great! Donna Janulis outdid herself this year, giving us a color catalog for the people that put in full page ads. The whole catalog turned out fabulous! We also had a "Duck Hunt Package" for silent auction that earned $300 for Brittany Rescue!

This turned out to be one of our largest entries with 5 in Obedience, 37 in Puppy Sweepstakes, 7 in Veteran Sweepstakes, and 89 in the regular classes! What a full and fun day we had!

Some notes not mentioned in the results below, judge Margery West awarded High in Trial to a dog from Novice A, earning a new CD title, Murphy's Irish Mischief, NA. Congratulations!

Ms. Billie Hayes joined us from Scottsdale, Arizona to judge our regular classes. Being very familiar with field trials since her husband trials with pointers, she was quite pleased with our entry of many Dual quality dogs. We again had our judge give 4 Awards of Merit, of which one was given to the Field Trial Dog, Ch. Starlight's Rigel Revelation, and one to the Veteran Dog, DC/AFC Rudy's Jacque of Lady (both half-brothers to the Winners Bitch to boot!). I hope everyone won something at least in the raffle if not in the show. See everyone next year!
